28/07/2005 What I thinksWhatever happened in Gurgaon is a big tragedy, but according to me, the mob has provoked the high ranked official to take the action against the protesting Honda workers. I am not in the favour of Police actions, but they had to do the same to get everthing undercontrolled, otherwise mob could have damaged a lot rather protesting.
I am not happy with the way media had done their job, its irresponsible media, who is just behind the policeman , not behind the unsocialistic elements in the sequence.
This is really tough to say who's fault it is, but the way political parties are planning to get the vote bank directed towards them is not good. Do something to help them, not to exploit them.
Media got active after the action taken by the police, but if media had reported about the strike against Honda by the workers, before, Honda officials would have taken back all the 50 workers on job easily, and this shows, every one wants to sell the news, not to make people comfortable with the news.
With this kind of attitude of the leaders, mob will get fired soon and this will again effect the peaceful environment of the place like gurgaon.
Thats what I thinks.
